This Privacy Policy describes how personal data are collected, processed and protected in connection with the use of the FinGather application, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. Personal Data We Process

We may process the following categories of personal data: - identification and contact data (e-mail address, account identifiers), - login and authentication data, - technical data (IP address, device, browser, logs), - subscription and billing data, - user-generated data related to portfolio tracking (investment records, asset metadata).

FinGather does not intentionally process special categories of personal data under Article 9 GDPR.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes: - provision and operation of the Application (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), - user account administration and support, - subscription management and billing obligations, - security, fraud prevention and service improvement (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), - compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Data Recipients and Third Parties

Personal data may be shared with: - IT and hosting providers, - payment service providers, - analytics and monitoring services, - third-party API providers (e.g. Trading212), strictly to the extent necessary.

Some providers may be located outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, appropriate safeguards under GDPR are applied.

5. Data Retention

Personal data are retained only for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, or as required by law.

6. Data Subject Rights

Users have the right to: - access their personal data, - rectification or erasure, - restriction of processing, - data portability, - object to processing, - lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Data Security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
 

8. Final Provisions

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
  2. The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally.
  3. Users will be informed of any changes through the Application.

These Privacy Policy are valid and effective as of 08-02-2026.
